Biography
Christopher Sin is an internationally trained filmmaker and actor, currently based in Hong Kong. He began his career as a Visual Effects artist and photographer, which he was a top 10 finalist in the Hasselblad Masters Contest 2016. Later, he transitioned into working as a director and cinematographer, which he focuses on making indie films and corporate videos. An indie film that he made , “The Butterfly Fable” won the Audience Choice Award in the 2017 Los Angeles International New Wave festival. Afterwards, he moved in front of the camera and became an actor, which he was recognised as a best supporting actor in the “Best Actor’s Film Festival” in San Francisco. He was trained in action acting and stunts for 4 years, along with 14 years of previous martial arts experience. After settling down in Hong Kong, he starred in a number of commercials and TV shows, with very minor appearances in feature films. Some corporations he worked with both on and off camera include, HSBC, ICAC, New World Development, Cheung Kong Holdings, AIA, HKTDC, Bank of China Hong Kong. During the pandemic, he joined a teacher training program on clowning, which was organised by Christopher Bayes, head of physical acting from the Yale School of Drama. 冼康正(Christopher Sin)現居香港,曾於不同國家接受電影製作及演員訓練。他的演藝事業始於擔任電腦特效師及攝影師,並入圍2016哈蘇大師比賽最後十強。近來,他轉型當導演及攝影指導,專注製作獨立電影及企業影片。他的獨立電影《The Butterfly Fable》贏得2017洛杉磯國際新浪潮電影節觀眾選擇獎。之後,他走到鏡頭前擔任演員,並獲譽為三藩市「最佳演員電影節」最佳配角。他擁有14年武打經驗及曾受4年動作特技訓練。定居香港之後,他參與多種廣告及影視演出,並偶然在電影長片中客串出現。他曾合作參與製作及演出的公司包括匯豐銀行、廉政公署、新世界發展、長江實業、友邦保險、香港貿易發展局及中銀香港。 疫情期間,他參加了由耶魯戲劇學院表演⼤師Christopher Bayes組織的喜劇教師培訓課程。 |
