Biography

Now the Vice-Chairman of Societas Linguistica HongKongensis（港語學）, Sam Chung joined Societas Linguistica HongKongensis when he graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong as Master of Arts in Sociology by the end of 2013, as he was aware that Cantonese would need more public attention despite it being the Lingua Franca of Hong Kong. 

As more of a facilitator, he was the person behind the “Annual Census of Educational Language used in Chinese Class of Hong Kong Primary and Secondary School”, and the Organizer of Cantonese Composition Competition.
