Keynote Panel
Towards a Global Environmental Leader – Their Pathways and Learnings Sustainability and climate resilience are on top of the agenda in the post-COVID world, with large inflow of capital into sustainable finance, fuelling initiatives such as nature-based solutions, circular economy, renewable energy infrastructure and corporate ESG. What is the position of Hong Kong in the sustainability landscape, and how Hong Kong sustainability professionals stand out to become global environmental leaders? This panel gathers two outstanding home-grown environmental professionals, who have ventured out to become leading advocates in mainland China, the EU and the US. Their experiences directly touch upon the core theme of the Forum - reimagination of "glocal" citizenship, which is an unavoidable conundrum facing the collective action problem of climate change and environmental degradation.
